March Private Session: 1 on 1 Wheel Throwing with DeNai Jones

This workshop is perfect for couples carving out time to try something new together, or for friends seeking a meaningful, hands-on way to spend quality time side by side. This two hour one on one workshop can be fully tailored to your experience level—whether you’re touching the wheel for the very first time, have a bit of background, or are looking to refine your technique with more intention and finesse. As someone who grew through one-on-one instruction myself, I know how transformative that focused time can be.  We will work together to come up with a date and time that works for you in March.

I truly savor working with students in a private studio setting: answering questions, explaining the “why” behind each step, and making small adjustments as we move through the process. This is a private, intimate workshop held in my personal studio.

During our session, I’ll demonstrate throwing a few pieces on the wheel, share the joy and rhythm of working with clay, and guide you step-by-step as you create your own vessel. After the workshop, I will trim, glaze, and fire your finished pieces. They’ll be ready for pick-up about 2–3 weeks after your session.
